Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III spoke with Saudi Minister of Defense His Royal Highness Khalid bin Salman yesterday evening to discuss regional security challenges and mutual interests in deterring aggression and reducing tensions across the region. They agreed to continue strengthening the United States-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia defense partnership to help restore stability and calm to the region.
