Meta, Hugging Face, and Scaleway have announced the winners of the “European AI Startup Program” at STATION F. This initiative aims to stimulate European entrepreneurship and foster innovation.

The program follows the success of its first edition in France. Meta has partnered with Hugging Face, an open-source platform for machine learning models, and Scaleway, a European cloud leader for AI infrastructure, to support startups across Europe that use open-source models during their acceleration phase.

Applications opened in June 2024, and five winners were selected by a jury of experts:

- Batisia (France) is an AI co-pilot for real estate development and construction professionals.

- Kodex AI (Germany) offers an AI-powered Compliance Manager for automating compliance tasks.

- Neuralk-AI (France) develops AI integration models for structured data representation using graphical neural networks.

- Vocal Image (Estonia) is an AI-powered communication coach providing voice lessons and feedback.

- Pruna (France/Germany) offers an AI Optimization Engine for simplifying scalable inference in ML teams.

The program, supported by the HEC Paris incubator, provides access to resources at STATION F from October 2024 to February 2025. The winners will receive technical mentoring from researchers at FAIR, Meta’s artificial intelligence research lab. They will also gain access to Hugging Face’s platform and tools as well as Scaleway’s computing power.

“For over 10 years, Meta has been at the forefront of open-source. We are convinced open-source is a key driver of innovation, in Europe and around the world,” said Markus Reinisch, Vice President for Public Policy in Europe at Meta.

“Hugging Face’s longstanding and successful collaboration with Meta, STATION F and Scaleway to bring the benefits of open-source AI to all...is what this program is all about!” stated Clément Delangue, CEO and co-founder of Hugging Face.

“Scaleway is delighted to support this latest edition of the AI Startup Program,” commented Damien Lucas, CEO of Scaleway.

Roxanne Varza, Director of Station F added: “Of the 30 programs we have at STATION F...the Meta AI Startup Accelerator with Hugging Face and Scaleway is one of the most sought-after on campus.”
