The conversation also touched upon the importance of advancing trilateral cooperation between the United States, Japan, and South Korea (ROK) to ensure an open and free Indo-Pacific region. Additionally, Secretary Blinken expressed gratitude towards Japan for its continuous partnership concerning Ukraine.
Furthermore, Secretary Blinken reiterated his support for addressing issues related to North Korea (DPRK), particularly focusing on resolving abduction matters.
