Global tech trade association ITI has announced the scholars for its 2024 Diversity Leadership Program. This initiative is designed to support professionals from underrepresented groups in the tech industry. The program offers a year-long development journey aimed at enhancing participants' visibility and presence in the industry through mentorship, executive training, and thought leadership opportunities.
"The global tech sector embraces diversity of background and experience of our employees to advance our industry, and ITI is deeply committed to leveraging its platform to help propel the next generation of diverse tech executives," said ITI President and CEO Jason Oxman. "We are proud to congratulate the 2024 class of scholars participating in ITI’s Diversity Leadership Program and are excited to see the impact they will continue to make on the tech industry."
After a thorough application and selection process, ITI selected several professionals for its 2024 program:
- Joao Palma Chacon, ESH Policy and Sustainability Specialist at Texas Instruments
- Manal Siddiqui, Manager of Responsible AI at Accenture
- Todd Michael Lane, Manager of Government Relations in Canada at Lenovo
- Tracy Owens, Director of U.S. Public Affairs at Sage
This program reflects ITI's ongoing commitment to fostering diversity and inclusion within the technology sector by providing resources and support to those often underrepresented in the field.
