Chairman John Moolenaar of Michigan has announced his participation in the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China (IPAC). He emphasized the importance of international collaboration to address challenges posed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
Moolenaar stated, "The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China is crucial for international cooperation that will help counter CCP aggression, secure supply chains, and stand together to uphold freedom, human rights, and the rule of law. I look forward to providing important American perspectives with leaders from around the world in order to confront these challenges."
IPAC is an organization composed of lawmakers from various countries who believe in uniting to demand accountability from China. The group emerged from a shared understanding that previous assumptions about engagement with Beijing are outdated. Under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party, China has become more authoritarian domestically and assertive internationally.
