Netflix has announced the Italian adaptation of its popular series "Love Is Blind," titled "Love Is Blind: Italy." The casting phase is now open for Italian singles between the ages of 25 and 45 who are interested in participating.
The show offers participants a chance to find love beyond physical appearances. It is described as a social experiment, providing an unconventional approach to modern dating. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with potential partners without seeing them, choosing someone to marry without ever meeting face-to-face.
"Love Is Blind: Italy" is produced by Banijay Italia. The original U.S. version premiered on February 14, 2020, and gained international popularity. This success has led to local adaptations in several countries including Japan, Brazil, Sweden, the UK, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Argentina, and now Italy.
The premise challenges whether looks or other external factors influence love or if genuine connections can be formed sight unseen.
