On October 2, 2024, the Computer & Communications Industry Association (CCIA Europe) marked the 15th anniversary of its Brussels office. The event featured discussions on the future of digital innovation in the European Union and an exhibition highlighting technological advancements over the past 15 years driven by CCIA Europe's members.

Matt Schruers, President & CEO of CCIA, welcomed guests and reflected on CCIA Europe's journey since its inception in 2009. Daniel Friedlaender, Head of CCIA Europe, officially launched the new "EU Digital Innovation: 2024-2029 Blueprint and Guide to Effective EU Tech Regulation," which provides recommendations and insights for EU policymakers.

The evening's keynote address was delivered by Lama Nachman, Director of Intelligent Systems Lab at Intel Labs. Nachman discussed upcoming breakthroughs in artificial intelligence (AI) that aim to enhance human potential across Europe. She also highlighted the crucial role EU policymakers play in promoting AI-driven innovation.
