Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources Richard R. Verma is set to visit Paris, France from October 23 to 25. The purpose of his trip is to attend the International Conference in Support of Lebanon’s People and Sovereignty, which is hosted by the Government of France.

During his visit, Deputy Secretary Verma will engage with partner states and representatives from international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. The discussions will focus on achieving a diplomatic resolution that allows civilians on both sides of the Blue Line to return home safely. Additionally, he will address the importance of providing humanitarian aid to the Lebanese people and supporting Lebanese state institutions such as the Lebanese Armed Forces.
