Today, Secretary of the Treasury Janet L. Yellen held a meeting with Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland. The meeting took place during the 2024 Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.

During their discussion, Secretary Yellen highlighted recent budget support provided by the United States to Ukraine. She also updated on future actions related to the G7 Leaders' commitment to implement the Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration (ERA) Loans initiative. Additionally, Secretary Yellen addressed matters concerning international tax issues.
