U.S. Ambassador-at-Large Cindy Dyer is set to visit Madagascar from November 13-16 and South Africa from November 17-21. Her trip aims to discuss efforts with government officials in both countries to combat human trafficking and enhance cooperation on this critical issue.
During her visit, Ambassador Dyer will focus on victim identification and referral efforts, screening vulnerable populations for trafficking indicators, and increasing accountability for traffickers. She plans to meet with civil society and international organizations to address anti-trafficking challenges and share insights from U.S. research and initiatives.
