Deputy Secretary of State Richard R. Verma is set to participate in the "Future of Travel Mobility" Conference, organized by the U.S. Travel Association. The event will be held at Union Station's East Hall on Wednesday, November 20.

With the United States gearing up for major global events such as the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Deputy Secretary Verma plans to discuss innovations and modernization efforts aimed at facilitating travel for Americans abroad and welcoming foreign visitors to the U.S. He will also address how these efforts contribute to job creation and economic growth by attracting visitors and investment.

The conference is scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with Deputy Secretary Verma speaking at 4:00 p.m.
