The United States has announced financial sanctions against certain individuals and an entity due to their involvement in activities that threaten peace and stability in the West Bank. The Department of State is implementing these sanctions under Executive Order 14115.
Among those designated is EYAL HARI YEHUDA COMPANY LTD (EYAL HARI), which has been accused of providing vehicles used for expanding the boundaries of the U.S.-designated MEITARIM FARM, leading to the dispossession of Palestinians. ITAMAR YEHUDA LEVI, owner of EYAL HARI, is also sanctioned for his leadership role in the company and for supporting YINON LEVI.
SHABTAI KOSHLEVSKY is named as a leader or official of HASHOMER YOSH, an entity with blocked property interests under E.O. 14115. ZOHAR SABAH faces sanctions for engaging in violence and destruction affecting Palestinians' properties and livelihoods.
The sanctions block all property and interests in property of these designated persons within the United States or controlled by U.S. persons. Transactions involving these entities are prohibited unless authorized by a specific license from the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). Entry into the United States for these individuals is suspended under Presidential Proclamation 8693.
The goal of these sanctions is not punitive but aims to encourage positive changes in behavior. The U.S. government emphasizes its willingness to remove individuals from the SDN List if warranted by law.
Petitions for removal from this list can be directed to OFAC.Reconsideration@treasury.gov, with additional guidance available on the Department of State's Delisting Guidance page.
