The United States government has announced the designation of six Hamas leaders involved in transferring weapons and funds to Gaza. These individuals have facilitated activities supporting Hamas's operations, including smuggling construction equipment and materials used to develop a tunnel network within civilian areas and managing propaganda outlets for the group.
Matthew Miller, Department Spokesperson, stated: "There is no distinction between Hamas’ so-called military wing and its political leadership. We will continue to use the tools at our disposal to target those who perpetuate Hamas’s destabilizing activities."
