Laredo Sector Border Patrol honors November’s Youth of the Month

Laredo, Texas – The Laredo Sector Border Patrol announced the recipients of the Youth of the Month program for November during a ceremony at Martin High School. This initiative aims to recognize and promote academic excellence among high school students in Laredo.

On November 19, eleven students were honored as part of this program. Attorney Rudy Morales and Patrol Agent in Charge Jaime Fierro addressed the students, highlighting the importance of the award and acknowledging their dedication to academic success.

This marks the 38th year of the Laredo Sector Youth of the Month Program. U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) is described as "America's frontline," being "the nation's largest law enforcement organization and the world's first unified border management agency." CBP comprises over 65,000 personnel who work to protect America on land, air, and sea while facilitating safe travel and trade. They focus on enhancing national security through "innovation, intelligence, collaboration, and trust."
