Daniel Glad, Director of the Procurement Collusion Strike Force (PCSF), delivered remarks at the organization's fifth anniversary event held in the Great Hall of the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice Building in Washington. He expressed gratitude for the collective efforts that have allowed PCSF to reach this milestone.

Glad acknowledged various contributors to the PCSF's success, including paralegals Mark Burklund, Kaitlyn Colyer, and Hillary Phan; Deputy Director Sandra Talbott; and Assistant Deputy Directors Michael Sawers and Bryan Serino. He also recognized Jamie Collins, PCSF Program Manager, for her exceptional work.

The director also highlighted contributions from former Justice Department members like Eyitayo "Tee" St. Matthew-Daniel and Anna Bieganowska. He credited Makan Delrahim, Andrew Finch, and Richard Powers for their vision in establishing the Strike Force five years ago.

Glad noted that over its first five years, the PCSF has met a demand for enforcement against criminal schemes targeting government procurement. The group has addressed issues ranging from asphalt to IT systems to military equipment fuel.

The event featured speeches from notable figures such as Jonathan Kanter, Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division. Kanter celebrated his third anniversary in this role and has been a supporter of effective antitrust enforcement.

Attendees included leaders from across PCSF and other agencies who are part of this collaborative model aimed at protecting public funds through law enforcement.

Following Glad's speech, sessions included discussions on current threats to procurement integrity with leaders from various Inspector General offices. These discussions were set to address global considerations and future strategies involving data analytics.

The event coincided with International Fraud Awareness Week, highlighting anti-fraud awareness efforts worldwide.
