Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken held a meeting with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar during the G7 summit in Fiuggi, Italy. The encounter was aimed at reinforcing the relationship between the United States and India.
According to Spokesperson Matthew Miller, both officials expressed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. "Secretary Blinken and External Affairs Minister Jaishankar affirmed the United States and India’s enduring commitment to deepening bilateral ties," Miller stated.
The discussion also highlighted the importance of collaboration on global security issues. "The Secretary underscored the United States’ desire to continue coordinating closely with India to address global security challenges," Miller added.
