On December 3, Deputy Secretary of State Kurt Campbell will host a preview event for the USA Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka. The event will include an initial look at one of the exhibit spaces and reveal the official mascot of the pavilion. The remarks are scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. EST in the Benjamin Franklin Room at the Department of State. Japanese Ambassador to the United States Shigeo Yamada will join Deputy Secretary Campbell for this occasion.

The event is open to press members and will be streamed live on the Department's YouTube Channel. For video cameras, preset time is set for 10:15 a.m. EST from the 23rd Street entrance, while writers and still photographers must arrive by 10:30 a.m. EST through the same entrance.

Media representatives wishing to attend need to present one of several forms of identification: a U.S. government-issued photo media credential, an official photo ID from their news organization, or a letter verifying employment as a journalist on official letterhead from their employer. Additionally, they must show an official government photo ID such as a U.S. driver's license or passport.
