The discussions emphasized the strong bilateral relationship between the United States and Malta, highlighting a shared commitment to advancing the principles of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE).
According to Spokesperson Matthew Miller, "The Secretary and the Prime Minister underscored the strength of the U.S.-Malta bilateral relationship and our shared commitment to advancing OSCE’s principles, including respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states and for the human rights of all persons."
Both leaders reaffirmed their dedication to enhancing cooperation between their countries. They focused on promoting global peace, regional security, and adherence to the rule of law.
