Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara A. Leaf is set to attend the Manama Dialogue in Bahrain from December 6-8. During the event, she will deliver remarks and engage with foreign counterparts to discuss efforts aimed at promoting peace and prosperity in the region.

Following her visit to Bahrain, Assistant Secretary Leaf will travel to Jordan on December 8. In Jordan, she plans to meet with senior officials to emphasize the strength of the United States-Jordan strategic partnership and mark 75 years of diplomatic relations between the two nations. Additionally, she will meet with U.S. embassy staff in Amman to express gratitude for their commitment to maintaining a robust bilateral partnership between the United States and Jordan.
