Blockchain Association is set to host its third annual Policy Summit in Washington, D.C., on December 16-17, 2024. This event, exclusive to members, aims to gather policymakers, regulators, and industry leaders for discussions on the future of crypto policy and regulation.
The summit occurs at a pivotal time for U.S. crypto policy as a new administration is poised to take office. Regulatory perspectives will be provided by SEC Commissioners Mark T. Uyeda and Hester Peirce, CFTC Commissioner Summer K. Mersinger, New York State Department of Financial Services Superintendent Adrienne A. Harris, and Sulolit (Raj) Mukherjee from the IRS.
Attendees will also hear from industry experts like J. Christopher Giancarlo, former CFTC Chairman; Shayne Coplan of Polymarket; Michael Mosier, former acting head of FinCEN; among others from the digital assets ecosystem.
Key sessions will cover topics such as "Presidential Transition: Personnel, Policy, and Outlook for the Next Administration," "Securities Law and Industry Litigation Outlook," and "Privacy Tech and the Right to Code."
