Laredo, Texas – The Laredo Sector Border Patrol announced the Youth of the Month honorees for December during a ceremony held on December 13 at the Performing Arts Center. Hosted by Cigarroa High School, the event recognized 11 students from various high schools in Laredo for their academic achievements.
Clarissa Moncivais, a Border Patrol Agent and Master of Ceremony, commenced the event by acknowledging the recipients. Guest speakers included Dr. Carmen A. Pompa and Patrol Agent in Charge Adam Ruiz, who emphasized the importance of academic excellence and dedication required to earn this recognition.
The Youth of the Month Program is now in its 38th year, continuing its tradition of honoring student accomplishments across Laredo's educational institutions.
