U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross has announced the sentencing of Corey Beasley, a 39-year-old resident of West Seneca, New York. Beasley was convicted of receiving child pornography and has been sentenced to 180 months in prison by U.S. District Judge Richard J. Arcara.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Caitlin M. Higgins, who managed the case, provided details on the investigation. In June 2022, Beasley took sexually explicit photographs involving himself and a minor female using his cellphone. The case came to light in January 2023 when a West Seneca police officer received a report that such images were found on a tablet owned by Beasley.

Following this report, search warrants were executed at Beasley's residence, leading to the seizure of multiple electronic devices. A forensic examination of his cellphone uncovered numerous sexually explicit images of the victim and other child pornography images that Beasley had received and possessed.

The investigation was conducted by the West Seneca Police Department, led by Chief Edward Baker, and Homeland Security Investigations under Special Agent-in-Charge Erin Keegan's direction.
