The inclusion of IBM's Granite LLMs is designed to empower Lockheed Martin's workforce by providing advanced code, language, reasoning, and guardrail functionalities. These improvements aim to customize assistants and agents for national security missions and business transformation.

Dr. Steven H. Walker, vice president and chief technology officer at Lockheed Martin, stated, "To have the best AI capability available to our customers, we continue to invest and innovate in AI across our portfolio."
