Netflix recently presented its lineup of anime titles at Jump Festa 2025, a major manga and anime convention held on December 21-22 at the Makuhari Messe convention center near Tokyo. The event was organized by five Shueisha magazines: Weekly Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump+, V Jump, Jump Square, and Saikyo Jump.

The new action series "SAKAMOTO DAYS" was highlighted with an interactive booth that brought the story to life. The series follows Taro Sakamoto, a former hitman who becomes a family man running a store while facing challenges from assassins. Japanese voice actors Tomokazu Sugita, Nobunaga Shimazaki, and Ayane Sakura interacted with fans and announced additional cast members Hiroki Yasumoto, Hochu Otsuka, and Daisuke Namikawa. The series will premiere on Netflix on January 11.

"Blue Box," an anime series focused on romance and sports among youth, is now streaming its first part on Netflix. Voice actors Shoya Chiba, Reina Ueda, Akari Kito, and Kensho Ono were present during the panel discussion. It was announced that Kana Ichinose will join the cast for the second part as Ayame Moriya. New opening and closing theme songs were revealed: “Saraba” by Macaroni Empitsu and “Contrast” by TOMOO.

"DAN DA DAN," based on Yukinobu Tatsu's manga about occult battles involving characters Momo and Okarun, remains in Netflix's Global Top 10 (Non-English series) for ten consecutive weeks. Season 2 is set to debut in July 2025.

"Dragon Ball DAIMA," created by Akira Toriyama, has also maintained a position in the Global Top 10 (Non-English series) since its release. Additionally, "SPY x FAMILY CODE: White," based on Tetsuya Endo's manga started streaming on December 22 in select regions.

Looking ahead to future releases, "Dr.STONE SCIENCE FUTURE," the final season of Dr.STONE series will stream starting January 9 across Asia including Japan. Another upcoming title is "THE ONE PIECE," adapted from ONE PIECE by WIT Studio.
