Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) President and CEO Eric Fanning expressed gratitude towards Congress for passing a continuing resolution to fund the government. This action prevents a full government shutdown, ensuring that critical government functions are maintained through March.

Fanning acknowledged the efforts of specific lawmakers, stating, “The Aerospace Industries Association is grateful that Congress has acted to prevent a full government shutdown.” He added appreciation for "Sens. Murray and Collins and Reps. Cole and DeLauro" for their roles in securing funding.

The AIA is prepared to support efforts to pass full appropriations in the coming year.
