Gregory Morrison, a 54-year-old resident of Michigan City, Indiana, has been sentenced to 151 months in prison by United States District Court Judge Cristal C. Brisco. This follows his guilty plea for possession with intent to distribute cocaine, as announced by United States Attorney Clifford D. Johnson.

Morrison's sentence also includes six years of supervised release following his imprisonment. The case documents reveal that during the summer of 2023, Morrison distributed a total of 122 grams of cocaine on eight separate occasions. A subsequent search of his residence in September 2023 led to the discovery of an additional 148 grams of cocaine and $1,700 in cash. This marks Morrison's fourth conviction related to drug distribution offenses.

The investigation was conducted by the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and its North Central Laboratory, with support from the LaPorte County Drug Task Force, the Michigan City Police Department, and the LaPorte County Prosecutor’s Office. Assistant United States Attorney Katelan McKenzie Doyle prosecuted the case.
