Shaquill Morris, a 34-year-old federal inmate at FCI Schuylkill, has been sentenced to two years in prison for possessing a weapon while incarcerated. The sentence was handed down by United States District Court Judge Joseph F. Saporito, Jr.
United States Attorney Gerard M. Karam stated that Morris was found with a cellphone and two shanks on July 26, 2024. His new sentence will be served consecutively to the 216-month sentence he is already serving from the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
The investigation was conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigations and the Special Investigative Services of the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Assistant U.S. Attorney Todd K. Hinkley led the prosecution.
