Abe McGlothin, Jr. has been appointed as the Acting United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Texas. This appointment follows the departure of U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs on January 21, 2025. The change in leadership is pursuant to the Vacancies Reform Act.
