President Trump highlighted the significance of India increasing its procurement of American-made security equipment and stressed the need for a balanced bilateral trading relationship. Plans were also discussed for Prime Minister Modi to visit the White House, reflecting the strong friendship and strategic ties between both countries.
The leaders reaffirmed their commitment to advancing the U.S.-India strategic partnership as well as their collaboration within the Indo-Pacific Quad partnership. Notably, India is set to host Quad Leaders for the first time later this year.
