President Trump has rescinded the Biden Administration's Executive Order for Safe, Secure, and Trustworthy Development and Use of Artificial Intelligence. This order had initiated a comprehensive government effort to promote responsible AI innovation.

"The Executive Order on Artificial Intelligence took a whole-of-government approach to advancing responsible AI innovation," she stated. "The AI EO played a valuable role in shaping the public and private sectors’ approach to AI at a breakthrough moment for the technology," she said. "But with or without the Order in effect, it’s in everyone’s interest to continue to adopt AI tools in smart, responsible ways and ensure America remains a leader in AI governance."
