The Heritage Foundation has announced the addition of Eugene Kontorovich as a Senior Research Fellow at the Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom. Kontorovich will focus on international law, sovereignty, and Israel-related issues in his new role. He is also a professor at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School and directs its Center for the Middle East and International Law.
Kontorovich has an academic background from the University of Chicago, where he earned both his undergraduate and law degrees. He has published extensively in leading law reviews and peer-reviewed journals across the United States and Europe, including notable publications such as the American Journal of International Law, Stanford Law Review, and Virginia Law Review. His analysis is frequently featured in prominent media outlets like The New York Times and Wall Street Journal.
