Robert M. Lutz, a 42-year-old resident of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 132 months in prison for the distribution of methamphetamine. The sentencing took place on January 31, 2025, and was handed down by Chief Judge Matthew W. Brann of the United States District Court.

During this period, the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted controlled purchases from Lutz on at least two occasions totaling approximately $4,000. Laboratory analysis confirmed that the methamphetamine was between 93 and 96 percent pure.
The case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation with Assistant U.S. Attorney Luisa Honora Berti prosecuting.
Under federal law, the maximum penalty for this offense could include life imprisonment, supervised release after imprisonment, and a fine. Sentences are determined based on federal statutes and guidelines following a finding of guilt.
