Starting today, Threads users can share custom public feeds they have created. This new feature aims to help users connect with others who have similar interests and discover relevant profiles and conversations. Users can explore public feeds under a new Feeds tab on profiles and pin their favorite feeds for quick access.
Creating and sharing a public feed on Threads involves simple steps. To make a custom feed public, users need to tap and hold the feed at the top of their Threads app, select "Edit feeds," and toggle the feed to "Public." Sharing involves tapping and holding the feed, selecting "Edit feeds," then choosing "View feed." From there, users can use the quote icon to post a preview or the “Share feed” button to send it as a link or direct message.
Threads initially launched custom feeds last year to help organize interests, stay updated, and connect with communities. Since then, improvements have been made for easier creation, better discovery, and sharing capabilities.
