Apple has announced the launch of three new live global radio stations on Apple Music. The new stations, named Apple Música Uno, Apple Music Club, and Apple Music Chill, are available for free without a subscription alongside existing stations like Apple Music 1, Apple Music Hits, and Apple Music Country.
"Apple Music Radio is the beating heart of our service," stated Oliver Schusser, Apple's vice president of Music, Sports, and Beats. He emphasized the company's commitment to curating content hosted by top music commentators with unique programming.
Zane Lowe, Apple Music's global creative director and lead anchor for Apple Music 1, shared his excitement about expanding the live radio experience. "In a world of AI and algorithms, Apple Music Radio is live. It’s real people," he said.
Apple Música Uno will focus on Latin music diversity with artists like Becky G as the station's official launch host. Becky G expressed her enthusiasm: "I feel incredibly honored to have my own Apple Music radio show."
Apple Music Club will cater to fans of dance and electronic music. Tim Sweeney and NAINA will guide listeners through mixes from DJs worldwide. Jamie xx shared insights into his show featuring recordings from a club event in London earlier this year.
Apple Music Chill aims to provide a relaxing atmosphere with a continuous flow of chill music across genres. Brian Eno described his show as an opportunity to share quieter music discoveries.
These stations can be accessed via various Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, CarPlay, and more. Users can also use Siri commands to play any of these stations.
