Apple is set to open its first store in Hefei, Anhui province, China, on Saturday. The new location, Apple MixC Hefei, offers a full range of the company's products and services. "We are so thrilled to open Apple MixC Hefei, our first store in the Anhui province, and build deeper connections with our customers in China," said Deirdre O’Brien, Apple's senior vice president of Retail and People.
Situated near Swan Lake in a key business district, the store features a wide glass storefront that integrates indoor and outdoor spaces. It uses sustainably sourced materials reflecting Apple's environmental commitments. Services include Genius Bar support and Apple Pickup for online order collection.
The store employs over 80 staff members ready to assist with personalized service. Customers can explore Apple's latest offerings like the iPhone 16 lineup and MacBook Pro with M4 chips. Free Today at Apple sessions will also be available for learning skills such as photography.
Customers will receive help with device upgrades, trade-ins, financing options, switching to iOS, and data transfers. Configure-to-order options allow customization of devices like the new 24-inch iMac powered by M4 chips.
In celebration of Chinese New Year, special-edition AirPods 4 engraved for the Year of the Snake are available for purchase. A workshop on using iPhone 16 and Apple Vision Pro is also offered. Festive decorations add to the celebratory atmosphere as doors open on January 18 at 10 a.m.
