Secretary Hegseth commended Prime Minister Netanyahu for his leadership over the past 15 months, which led to a ceasefire agreement securing the release of hostages from various nationalities.
Secretary Hegseth assured that this Administration will support Israel's right to self-defense. Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed appreciation for the Administration's commitment to supplying Israel with necessary munitions.
Additionally, Secretary Hegseth praised Prime Minister Netanyahu for military operations that have significantly weakened Iran and its proxies. Both leaders acknowledged Iran as a regional security threat and agreed on collaboration to address this issue. They also concurred on the importance of regional integration for stability in the Middle East.
Secretary Hegseth affirmed that under President Trump's leadership, the United States will continue to stand firmly with Israel in pursuing peace through strength.
