Muskogee man pleads guilty to failure to register as sex offender

A Muskogee resident, Jordan Bradley Brown, 36, has pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender. The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma confirmed the plea.

According to the indictment, Brown was previously convicted of second-degree rape and sexual battery. He was required by law to register as a sex offender but failed to do so between June 28, 2024, and September 3, 2024. During this period, he did not update his registration while entering, leaving, or residing in Indian country within the Eastern District of Oklahoma.

The case resulted from an investigation conducted by the United States Marshals Service.

U.S. Magistrate Judge Gerald L. Jackson accepted Brown's guilty plea in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation report has been ordered. Until sentencing is determined, Brown will remain in custody under the supervision of the United States Marshals Service.
