Niagara Falls man sentenced to five years for meth possession

U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced that Jevon Flynn, a 30-year-old resident of Niagara Falls, New York, has been sentenced to five years in prison for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Jeffrey E. Intravatola provided details of the case, explaining that on March 26, 2024, law enforcement executed a search warrant at a residence in Niagara Falls. During the search, Flynn was found in a bedroom with his hands near a clothing hamper containing a backpack and pants. Inside the backpack was a plastic bag with suspected methamphetamine, while two plastic baggies were discovered in the pants—one with suspected fentanyl and another with blue-colored pressed pills. Additional quantities of suspected methamphetamine and eight grams of suspected crack cocaine were also seized.

The investigation leading to Flynn's sentencing involved Homeland Security Investigations and the Niagara County Sheriff's Office.
