U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin has announced the discovery of billions of taxpayer dollars placed at a financial institution by the Biden-Harris Administration. Zeldin is advocating for the termination of the financial agent agreement and demands the immediate return of these funds to the U.S. Treasury to ensure proper oversight by the EPA. He also plans to refer this issue to the Office of the Inspector General and Congress, and collaborate with the U.S. Department of Justice.
"Roughly twenty billion of your tax dollars were parked at an outside financial institution by the Biden EPA," stated Administrator Zeldin. "This scheme was the first of its kind in EPA history and it was purposefully designed to obligate all of the money in a rush job with reduced oversight."
Zeldin emphasized his commitment to being a responsible steward of taxpayer money, stating, "There will be zero tolerance of any waste and abuse." He assured that every expenditure would be reviewed meticulously, signaling an end to what he described as irresponsible spending practices.
The controversy follows a video circulated on social media two months ago, showing a Biden EPA political appointee discussing "tossing gold bars off the titanic," referring to rushing billions out before Inauguration Day. During his confirmation hearing, Zeldin promised thorough research and accountability for all expenditures during his tenure and from previous administrations.
