The U.S. Department of Labor has announced the appointment of Troy W. Finnegan as assistant secretary for administration and management.

Finnegan expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, "It is an honor to return to the department and continue serving an administration that believes in the limitless potential of American job creators and workers."

Previously, Finnegan held the position of executive secretary to the secretary of labor, where he was responsible for managing department correspondence and high-level administrative processes. His background also includes significant legal experience, having served as special counsel at Akerman LLP and as general counsel for Dr. Phillips Charities, one of Florida's largest philanthropic organizations.
