An Omaha resident, Jose Israel Robledo, has been sentenced to 168 months in federal prison for distributing a significant quantity of methamphetamine. The sentencing took place on February 13, 2025, as announced by Acting United States Attorney Matthew R. Molsen.

Robledo, aged 45, was convicted of distributing 50 grams or more of actual methamphetamine. Chief United States District Judge Robert F. Rossiter, Jr. presided over the case and handed down the sentence. Following his imprisonment, Robledo will undergo a five-year term of supervised release.

The distribution incident occurred on January 5, 2023. Robledo sold approximately one pound of methamphetamine to a DEA Confidential Source at a Burger King in Omaha. After completing the transaction, law enforcement officers followed Robledo to his residence and arrested him. The lab confirmed that the substance purchased by the CS weighed 449.2 grams and had a purity level of 100%.

The Drug Enforcement Administration conducted the investigation leading to Robledo's arrest and subsequent sentencing.
