U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has improved its Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP) online services to allow members to update documents and submit requests without needing an in-person visit. These enhancements, accessible via the CBP Help webpage, aim to streamline processes and increase interview appointment availability.
Through the "Ask a Question" section, TTP members can now update various documents including visas, passports, and driver’s licenses. They can also process name changes due to marriage or divorce and update their citizenship status. The site provides assistance with general TTP inquiries, payment issues, and login problems. For further details, CBP encourages users to explore resources on the CBP Help webpage at: Ask Us a Question.
The reduction of in-person visits has allowed CBP enrollment offices in San Diego and Calexico to offer more interview appointments. Conditionally approved applicants can log into their ttp.gov account to schedule an appointment for one of these newly available slots.
The Trusted Traveler Programs—Global Entry, SENTRI, NEXUS, and FAST—are designed for expedited entry of pre-approved low-risk travelers into the United States. Applicants are vetted thoroughly to ensure they meet program qualifications. Approved participants can use dedicated traveler lanes at Southern land border ports and select airports.
Frequent international travelers who have not yet joined a Trusted Traveler Program are encouraged to sign up now. More information is available on the Official Trusted Traveler Program Website | Department of Homeland Security.
