The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has expanded its online services for the Trusted Traveler Programs (TTP), allowing members to update documents and submit applications without an in-person visit. These new services, accessible on the CBP Help webpage, aim to simplify processes and increase interview appointment availability.
Through the "Ask a Question" section, TTP members can now update documents such as visas, passports, and driver's licenses. They can also process name changes due to marriage, divorce, or other legal circumstances and update their citizenship status. The site assists with general TTP inquiries, payment-related questions, fees, and login issues. CBP encourages everyone to explore available resources on the CBP help page at: Ask Us a Question.
By reducing the need for in-person visits, CBP enrollment centers in San Diego and Calexico have increased interview appointment availability. Conditionally approved applicants can log into their ttp.gov account to schedule an appointment for one of the newly opened slots.
The Trusted Traveler Programs (Global Entry, SENTRI, NEXUS, and FAST) are risk-based programs that facilitate expedited entry of pre-approved low-risk travelers into the United States. All applicants are screened to ensure they meet program requirements. Approved participants can enter the United States using dedicated traveler lanes at southern land border ports and select airports.
Frequent international travelers who have not yet joined a Trusted Traveler Program can register now. For more information, visit: Official website of the Department of Homeland Security's Trusted Traveler Programs.
