Apple has announced the introduction of Apple Intelligence to Apple Vision Pro, set to launch in April. This new feature will allow users to proofread, rewrite, and summarize text using Writing Tools, create content with ChatGPT, explore visual expression through Image Playground, and craft personalized emojis with Genmoji. Initially available in beta on visionOS 2.4 with support for U.S. English, additional features and language support will be rolled out throughout the year.

Mike Rockwell, Apple's vice president of the Vision Products Group, stated: "Apple Vision Pro is helping users communicate, collaborate, and experience entertainment in entirely new ways — and we’re continuing to push the boundaries of what’s possible in spatial computing with visionOS 2.4."

The update also introduces Spatial Gallery, a new app featuring a curated collection of spatial photos and videos from various artists. The Apple Vision Pro app for iPhone will offer a streamlined way to download apps and games from the App Store while providing tips and information about their device.

"With Apple Intelligence," Rockwell added, "Vision Pro users will be able to take their productivity and creativity to new heights using features like Writing Tools, Image Playground, and Genmoji."

Writing Tools enables users to refine their writing by adjusting tone or summarizing text across different applications such as Mail and Notes. Image Playground allows creative image creation using themes or personal photos integrated into apps like Messages.

Genmoji lets users generate customized emojis by typing or speaking descriptions into the emoji keyboard. Smart Reply suggests responses in Messages and Mail for efficient communication.

visionOS 2.4 enhances privacy protections through on-device processing while utilizing Private Cloud Compute for more complex requests without storing user data.

Spatial Gallery offers immersive experiences across art forms including contributions from photographers Jonpaul Douglass and Samba Diop alongside brands like Cirque du Soleil. The update also brings improvements to Guest User functionality allowing shared experiences via nearby iPhones or iPads.

Availability spans multiple regions including Australia, Canada, China mainland among others where demos can be booked at local Apple Stores.
