A man from Princeton, Kentucky, Micah Gray, has been sentenced to 24 years in federal prison for methamphetamine distribution. The sentence was announced by U.S. Attorney Michael A. Bennett of the Western District of Kentucky, along with Special Agent in Charge Jim Scott of the DEA Louisville Field Division, Chief Chris King of the Princeton Police Department, and Director David Thompson of the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force.
Court documents revealed that Gray, aged 44, distributed methamphetamine on three occasions over a two-day period from August 26th to 27th, 2021. During a search of his apartment on August 27th, authorities found approximately one and one-half pounds of methamphetamine along with items used for its distribution.
This case was investigated by the DEA Paducah Post of Duty Office, the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force, and the Princeton Police Department. They received assistance from the Kentucky State Police and the Commonwealth Attorney’s Office for the 56th Judicial Circuit.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Seth A. Hancock prosecuted the case with support from paralegal Cristy Crockett.
