The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) has announced the winners of the 19th annual NAHB/Builders Mutual Safety Award for Excellence (SAFE). The awards recognize outstanding safety and health programs in the residential construction industry. The recipients were honored during a ceremony at the 2025 NAHB International Builders’ Show.
This year, the SAFE program acknowledged individuals and companies that prioritize safety, including mental health advocacy. Juli Bacon, chairman of the NAHB Construction Safety and Health Committee, emphasized the importance of jobsite safety: “Jobsite safety is a top priority for NAHB and all of those who work in the residential construction industry. We are honored to recognize all of these individuals and organizations for being leaders in the field, and for demonstrating a superior commitment to safe work practices.”
Mike Gerber, President and CEO of Builders Mutual Insurance Company, expressed his support: “At Builders Mutual, we strive to protect and advance the unique needs of the contractor community, and there is nothing more important to us than promoting a culture of safety on every jobsite.
