The United States has announced new sanctions targeting six entities based in the People's Republic of China, including Hong Kong. These entities have been involved in procuring key components for Iran's UAV and ballistic missile programs.

Tammy Bruce, the Department Spokesperson, stated that this action is part of President Trump's maximum pressure campaign on the Iranian regime. The aim is to disrupt efforts by the Iranian entity Pishtazan Kavosh Gostar Boshra (PKGB) to rebuild its procurement network and continue acquiring critical parts from foreign suppliers.

"The United States will use all available means to expose and disrupt Iran’s growing UAV and missile development and proliferation," said Bruce. She emphasized that these activities destabilize the Middle East and beyond. The U.S. plans to continue acting against complex schemes employed by Iran to conceal its acquisition of sensitive technology for its missile and UAV programs.

These sanctions are issued under Executive Order (E.O.) 13382, which targets proliferators of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and their supporters.
