Ambassador Murray travels to South Korea for APEC senior officials' meeting

U.S. Senior Official for Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Ambassador Matt Murray, is set to visit Gyeongju and Seoul in the Republic of Korea from March 5 to 11. The purpose of the trip is to attend the First Senior Officials’ Meeting (SOM1) and related meetings as part of APEC Korea 2025.

During his visit, Ambassador Murray will work with the U.S. APEC team to promote economic policies that aim to enhance America's safety, strength, and prosperity. He will engage with senior government officials, business leaders, and other stakeholders across the Indo-Pacific region. The goal is to align U.S. Administration priorities with those of the Republic of Korea as it hosts APEC 2025.
