Edgar's previous tenure at DHS during President Trump's first term saw him serve as Chief Financial Officer and Associate Deputy Under Secretary for Management. His responsibilities included managing financial policy, modernization initiatives, and overseeing a $90 billion budget that supported crucial immigration policies and border wall construction.
Before this appointment, Edgar was an executive at a Fortune 500 company, bringing over three decades of leadership experience spanning finance, supply chain transformation, and technology sectors.
