Robert J. "Bob" Troester U.S. Attorney | U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Oklahoma
Francisco Jerard House, Sr., also known as Cisco, has been sentenced to 36 months in federal prison for illegal possession of ammunition following a previous felony conviction. This announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester.
House, aged 45 and from Oklahoma City, faced charges after a federal Grand Jury issued a two-count Superseding Indictment on September 17, 2024. He was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. The charges followed an incident in March 2024 when officers from the Oklahoma City Police Department (OCPD) responded to reports that House had sexually assaulted a woman while armed. On March 27, 2024, OCPD executed a search warrant at his residence and discovered both a firearm and several rounds of ammunition.
On November 21, 2024, House pleaded guilty to possessing ammunition despite his criminal record.
At the sentencing hearing held on February 27, 2025, U.S. District Judge Jodi W. Dishman imposed the sentence of three years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release. Judge Dishman highlighted the necessity to protect the public and uphold respect for the law in her decision. She also took into account House's prior criminal history which includes domestic violence charges and protective orders against him. Public records indicate that House previously faced felony convictions for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon as well as larceny of a motor vehicle under Oklahoma County District Court case number CF-2007-507.
The investigation leading to this case was conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with OCPD. Assistant U.S. Attorney Mary E. Walters prosecuted the case.
